the meaning of your dreams

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
Eleanor Roosevelt

I need to start by defining for myself what I think dreams are. Waking dreams are really what we envision in a perfect world. We all have dreams for ourselves and those we care about. Dreams are generally positive and uplifting. Through them we are able to visualize perfect images or results of our lives. Dreams are not goals, although many times our goals can become our dreams. This is not to say that our dreams cannot come true. If we really believe in our dreams we can make them come true.

The dreams we have when we are asleep are completely different from daytime dreams. I believe that our dreams come through our subconscious. Whether we remember our dreams or not, it is a fact that we all dream when we are asleep. Dreams have meanings, and the best way to interpret them is in relation to the dreamer.

Please share any dreams you have had with us, that you can interpret, and let us know the meanings. Every once in a while I am able to interpret a dream, that makes a lot of sense to me, but most of the time, I have no idea what the dream means even if I look up dream meanings.

There are also plenty of old wives’ tales about dreams. The most common is that if you tell someone about your dream, it will never come true. So, if you have a bad dream, then you should tell someone about it, so that it doesn’t come true, and if you have a good dream, then don’t tell anyone about it, to make sure that it comes true. The other is that dreams are always the opposite. For example, if you dream of someone dying, then you know that they are in good health.

For example, some of the various meanings of dreams are as follows. Most of us have dreamed of various animals on different occasions, and here are some meanings on what it means to dream about animals.

Many times the animal we are dreaming of represents us in some way at that stage of our life. Whether it is the appearance of the animal, its nature or its instinct.

An ape means that you or someone close to you has “gone ape” and needs to calm down.
Bats symbolize something unsanitary or the death of a family member.
A herd of cows symbolizes or needs to be accepted in our society.
A fox symbolizes that someone around you is being sneaky.
Dreaming of riding a horse means that you feel in a position of power.

Of course, there are many, many more.
