The best romantic movies to watch with a guy

this is a plea from all men to your beloved wife or girlfriend, please let us engage you with the best romantic movies to watch. Us men would sit through the movie Overboard and Fifty First Dates, maybe I should elaborate on this.

It is a fact that women dress their best to please other women and men dress their best to please women. With that in mind, men will do anything to please women. Even watch romantic movies with our favorite girl. “Love” movies that men will never watch alone and definitely never ever with their friends.

Of course, we men will say yes to a romantic movie with you, but ladies, you need to understand that men (and I think I speak for most of us) have a limited attention span when it comes to movies. If the movie doesn’t have a car chase, a gunfight, lots of blood and gore, an outrageous comedy, or a bikini or two, our male minds will drift elsewhere. Which reminds me, please don’t ask us about that romantic movie we just watched.

So what do you say in our next pick for the best romantic movie that we compromise and pick a romantic/comedy or romantic/action or romantic/comedy/action movie? Bikinis are not a priority!

I actually really like the movie Overboard and Fifty First Dates, but besides those, I have some other best romantic movies list suggestions right hereā€¦

Overboard – 1987

Starring: Kurt Russell as Dean Proffitt, Goldie Hawn as Joanna Stayton. Also Michael Hagerty, Edward Herrmann, Katherine Helmond.

Snobbish rich and filthy Joanna Stayton and her husband Grant Stayton III disembark their yacht in a small Oregon port. Joanna, the spoiled brat, hires one of the locals to build a closet on her yacht. Dean Proffitt built the closet, argued with Joanna, and got kicked off the yacht, unpaid and a little distraught. Suddenly Mrs. Stayton falls overboard and no one on the yacht notices. With a bad case of amnesia, Joanna Stayton was found and later put on local television. Dean Proffitt, the struggling carpenter, sees this opportunity for revenge and sitting children, convinces the once very wealthy Mrs. Stayton that her name is Annie Proffitt and that she is his wife and also the mother of four children. nasty. Proffitt’s plan works for a while before he remembers. Very funny, a must see movie.

Romancing the stone – 1984

Starring: Micheal Douglas as Jack Colton, Kathleen Turner as Joan Wilder, Danny DeVito as Ralph.

With a mysterious map in hand, Joan Wilder, a romance novelist, flies in from New York and ends up in the rural jungles of Columbia. She’s nearly killed by Zolo’s locals, who are led by a crooked Colombian cop, and is saved by an American swashbuckling hero type, Jack T. Colton. Jack agrees to take Joan back to civilization, to safety with added obstacles like the most wanted emerald, the mysterious map, and a con man named Ralph on their trail. This thrilling adventurous journey in the jungle offers a lot of action, comedy and romance.

Always – 1989

Starring: Richard Dreyfuss, John Goodman, Holly Hunter.

Steven Spielberg directed this romantic fantasy film about an aerial firefighter who is killed in an accident, leaving behind a very distraught girlfriend. The pilot returns as a ghost and helps a rookie become the best firefighting pilot, but the rookie falls in love with the dead pilot’s girlfriend. A very moving film, but one that also has action and comedy.

Fifty first dates – 19

STARRING: Adam Sandler as Henry Roth, Drew Barrymore as Lucy Whitemore, Sean Astin and Blake Clark as Lucy’s brother and father, and Rob Schneider.

Of the best romantic movies to watch, this one leans more towards the choices of women than men. The comedy definitely helps the man like it too.

In a Hawaiian paradise, happy-go-lucky ladies’ man Henry Roth meets Lucy Whitemore and hits it off immediately. The next day when seeing Henry, Lucy doesn’t remember anything. She has short term memory loss. Lucy’s father and brother recreate every day just for her with a birthday and all. Every day repeats itself over and over again as if it were a brand new day. Good funny movie and yes romantic.

The proposal – 2009

Starring: Ryan Reynolds as Andrew Paxton, Sandra Bullock as Margaret Tate, Craig T. Nelson, Mary Steenburgen, Betty White.

Margaret Tate is a strict editor at a New York publishing house. Canadian Margaret faces deportation due to her expired visa and she decides to marry her slave assistant Andrew Paxton with the promise of a big promotion, to which he agreed. Funny goofy humor, a great romantic comedy.

Wedding on wedding – 2005

Starring: Owen Wilson as John Beckwith, Vince Vaughn as Jeremy Gray, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, Christopher Walken.

Jeremy Gray and John Beckwith are lifelong friends and business partners as divorce mediators. These two intensely share a unique hobby. Weddings from all walks of life and religions collide. Having fun for free and meeting girls is what it’s all about. While investigating to crash the upcoming wedding, John and Jeremy end up on a lavish affair where they meet two wealthy daughters, Claire and Gloria Cleary, and of course fall in love with them. This leads them to a large property on an island that these girls reside on. That’s where the trouble starts and John and Jeremy’s lies about the ‘wedding guest’ don’t work. More comedy than romance in this hilarious movie. I would say this movie teeters more towards a men’s movie.

okay, Wedding Crashers may or may not border on being a romantic movie. But Overboard and Fifty First Dates definitely fall within the parameters of one of the best romantic movies. Watch any of these movies with your loved one for a quiet romantic evening. I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Greetings, Cinema Serge.
