Tea "Bath-Beer" It is for sale in the Czech Republic

The Chodovar Brewery, located near the famous Marianske Lazne complex, has put an unusual type of “bath beer” on the market. The alcoholic content of beer is 10% vol. And it is made in 1.5 liter bottles. This beer, in fact, is used to take baths and spa procedures.

A bottle of beer costs only 75 CZK (less than 4 euros). For this price, you can feel like you are in the real beer resort, which really exists in the town of Hodova Plana, where the Chodovar family brewery is located.

There are seven huge Victorian-style bathtubs and sinks in the reconstructed cellars of the beer cellars, where guests can swim in the refreshing liquid and also enjoy a beer massage, a beer pack, and beer cosmetics.

Precisely, the brewery complex offers a mineral worm bath with different dry virtuous herbs and hops, including the exclusive dark bath beer with the rejuvenating characteristics of brewer’s yeast. For a stronger effect of the procedure, guests are recommended a glass of an exceptional unpasteurized “aged rock cellar” beer with brewer’s yeast, which has a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract.

The “bath beer” relaxes the muscles, damages the joints, heals the skin and hair and also has a rejuvenating effect. But if you do not need such procedures, you can always drink and enjoy bath beer as usual.

The appearance of the Chodovar brewery building has not changed until now. Since 1862 it has been operating and follows the traditions of the local brewery, founded in the 16th century. Today, the famous local beer is produced at around 90,000 hectoliters a year. Since 1992, Chodovar had become a limited liability company. The Plevcov family is at the head of Brewery.

The family-owned brewery has rebuilt the spacious unique rocky cellars and on May 1, 2000 it was opened to visitors as a medieval beer pub and museum. Due to this reconstruction, the “good spirited” image of the local rocky cellars dog Alybi was returned on the crest of the brewery.

The family-run brewery in Hodove Plana manufactures malt, beer and fills bottles of mineral water. Different cultural events are also held in the brewery, for example annual beer festivals. The Rolling Oak Beer Tune Championships are being held in the Czech Republic. It is a traditional championship between brewing teams that has been held annually since 1930.
