Argument

Story about a young woman, Sophie, about to walk down the aisle to wedded bliss. As her wedding day approaches, she feels the need to know the identity of her biological father. Until that time, all she knows is that her mother had relationships with three different men at the time she was conceived. To solve her puzzle, she invites these three men to her wedding, without alerting her mother to her diabolical plan.

As one might imagine, this plot doesn’t go so well, and both Sophie and her mother, Donna, are forced to search for the truth to make sense of the situation. The entire musical takes place at an exotic Mediterranean beach resort and revolves around favorite ABBA hits like “Dancing Queen” and “The Winner Takes it All.”
