Neopets 200m Peanut Dash Guide

System of points:

There are 3 rounds to each game, and the points from all 3 rounds are added together so you can submit that overall score.
For every 1m you shoot the peanut – 1 point
For each obstacle you successfully jump: 5 points
For each Front Flip or Back Flip – 5 points
For each Double Front Flip or Double Back Flip – 10 points

So, for example, you shoot the peanut 180m, you jump through 10 obstacles, and in all 10 obstacles you do 2 Double Back Flips, 4 Front Flips, and 4 Straight Jumps.

That will turn out to be: (180×1) + (10×5) + (2×10) + (4×5) = 270

And considering you do the same (you’ll probably do better) in the next 2 rounds, that’s 270×3, which is 810.

810 points is more than the 596 required for 1000 NP!

How to play:

Alright, this is where it gets interesting. As they say, he spams and smashes the left and right arrow keys like crazy to charge the cute green elephant. From left to right, make sure the elephant’s face is red and his eyes are blinking before pressing the up arrow key to throw the peanut.

Note: This is probably the most important part of the game. How far (or close) you throw the peanut will determine how many points you get.

Most points are awarded when you do a Double Front Flip or a Double Back Flip, so pick one that sticks with you. For this example, I’ll choose Double Back Flip.
Just as the peanut is thrown, the Puppyblew will start to work.

Once it starts running, press this immediately. It won’t do anything yet. But once you hit an obstacle… Press the up arrow once and you’re good to go. Now once you land you will see your points being awarded. When you land, press this again.

This is so that you only have to press the up arrow key once each time you come across an obstacle. It saves time, effort and saves you if you have a minor mishap and fumble for your keys right before an obstacle. Now, as for catching the peanut, you should always look at the raven and the red arrow above you. As much as possible, try to always be just below the space between the raven and the red arrow.

This is so that when the peanut falls, when the crow goes down, you will be right under it. And the best part is that you don’t have to be exactly where the peanuts are.
Anywhere from the crow’s tail to the peanut, and you got the points.

Ask! What if I fall over an obstacle or just fumble for my keys and trip? Don’t worry, the only thing you lose when you fall is the distance between you and the peanut. Stitches aren’t lost, and hey, you get a nice Band-Aid too. 😛

Elephant alert! Now there’s this really annoying elephant around here somewhere.

No, it’s not that cutie with wings that throws your peanut, it’s that blue sloth that is lying around the place.

There. That is. Now why is it irritating? Because he is very fat and full of vitality, and Puppyblew is very light. If you collide with him, you don’t fall…

But you’ll bounce so far away that you’ll have to slow down drastically to let the peanut catch up with you.

And while flying that far, you might even miss valuable obstacles to earn points. The worst part is? You don’t get the +5 obstacle clearance points when bouncing off this guy. So what do I propose? Jump on the damn elephant like it’s a log. You still get the points.

There it is, my 200m Peanut guide.

Give it a try, who knows, you might even get a trophy.
