Reebok Treadmill Model 9500 ES – Is it a treadmill or a home entertainment system?

The Reebok Model 9500 ES Treadmill is so packed with features that I wonder if it should be described as a treadmill. Combining fitness with fun, it’s more of a workout place and mini-entertainment in your own home. An expensive device or a cheaper alternative to a fitness membership? I guess that depends on how much you pay at your gym and how often you use it.

Another thing that strikes you when looking for advice on the Reebock Model 9500 ES treadmill and other Reebok treadmills, manufactured by ICON Health and Fitness, is the manufacturer’s description. There is a trademark attached to many of the features, and without sounding negative about the product itself, do we really care if the fan or tilt control has some kind of a made-up name just for the sake of adding a TM after it? ? Does it make the tape more attractive to buyers? I doubt it! However, for the purpose of this review, I have included all of the ® and (TM) logos where applicable, and you can see for yourself how ridiculous this is starting to look.

Exercise:

The Reebok Model 9500 ES Treadmill has a variety of 35 built-in programs, including four presets, two event training programs, two for heart rate monitoring, and six calibrated weight loss programs. If that’s not enough, the 9500 ES also supports interactive iFit® technology, which is like having a virtual personal trainer. The belt on this model is a very good size for a home treadmill, measuring 60 “long and 20” wide, providing a decent running surface and a more comfortable workout for those with longer legs. With speeds of up to 20 km / h thanks to the commercial grade 3.5 CHP motor, the Reebok 9500 ES can compete with some of the treadmills you see at the gym. Another attractive feature is the One Touch (TM) speed control, which makes it quick and easy to adjust your speed to the required level.

Console:

A multi-color LED display on the console shows typical speed, time, distance and heart rate readings, and the AutoBreeze (TM) fan built into the Reebock Model 9500 ES treadmill will help keep you cool during your workout. The piece de resistance of this tape has to be the entertainment center. With a 7 “interactive flat panel display, built-in speakers, subwoofer and MP3 system, the Reebok Model 9500 ES Treadmill is sure to make your regular workout an enjoyable experience.

Design and Warranty:

The Reebok Model 9500 ES treadmill’s folding feature offers a convenient solution for home fitness users. The collapsible SpaceSaver® design with easy-lift assisted shock absorber makes it easy to store the unit when you need the space.

The standard warranty on this model is one year for parts and labor and 20 years for the engine. Here, for me, is where it falls in comparison to some of the other folding treadmills; for example, the Sole F80 includes a 30-year warranty on the deck and engine, and a 5-year warranty on its other parts.

Conclusion:

A steep price for a gadget-filled novelty that may soon be gone. As impressive as it may sound, priced at around $ 2,500, the Reebok Model 9500 ES Treadmill doesn’t sound like music to my ears!
