With so many video game consoles and video games available, it can be hard to keep track of what your kids are playing these days. This article will tell you about the latest and greatest video game consoles so you can get a little insight into what kids are up to these days.

First of all, let’s talk about Nintendo. In the 1980s, 1985 to be exact, Nintendo established itself and released its first video game and video game console: Super Mario Brothers. Nintendo is a classic brand in the video game industry. Of course they weren’t the first in the business, they are trendsetters in their niche and a force to be reckoned with.

Nintendo’s latest console is called the Wii. The Nintendo Wii, or simply Wii, differs from other game consoles in that the remote responds to physical movement and gestures made by the person using it. This is a great concept as many kids don’t get enough exercise because they want to sit in front of the TV all day and play video games. With the Wii, they at least get some kind of physical exertion.

Now let’s talk about Sony. Sony is the creator of the Playstation. The latest version of PlayStation available right now is the PS3. The PS3 is your conventional game console with high-definition graphics capabilities, high storage capacity, and blu-ray, internet, and dvd options. All three of the game consoles we mentioned in this article have high storage and DVD capacities.

Finally, let’s take a look at the Xbox… yes, Mr. Bill Gates is also dabbling in video game console territory. However, the Xbox360 and PS3 have been rivals for a while and have many of the same capabilities and features. The latest addition to the competition is the Wii.
