Three steps to looking younger

Okay, I’m not going to name any names, but I have a friend (or two) who need help. They are not in danger or anything like that. In fact, that is the problem. If you don’t make some changes to your appearance, you won’t be in danger of meeting a new woman and getting into a new relationship!

I understand why this is so and I can sympathize, after all, I was probably like them too not long ago. The guys I’m talking about recently got divorced and, well, they forgot to take a little extra time when they were getting ready to go out into the world. Just a small amount of extra attention can make a big difference in how someone looks and, as a result, how they are perceived by others.

The good news is, it doesn’t take much longer to look your best once you know what you’re doing and have the supplies you need. Here are the three things that will make an immediate difference that people will notice right away.

Facial scrub – Yes, exfoliation is not just for women. Just rub a little on your face while you shower and rub with a washcloth. Your skin will look fresher, smoother and healthier. You were going to wash your face anyway, right?

Moisturizing – This is really important. Once you get out of the shower and your face is really clean, the water will evaporate and you will look wrinkled and old … unless you put some moisturizer on your face, especially around the eyes. This really helps when you’re in Vegas and the desert air seems to turn your skin to sandpaper.

Hair gel – Not too much, that looks really bad, like combing your hair with buttered toast. Just a small amount to keep your hair clean and in place.

ADDITIONAL TIP: Before you get out of the shower, cool the water and cool your head. The cold water will close the pores on your skin and hair and help it retain more moisture. It works and you will get used to it, especially after you start to get noticed.

Well that’s it. Three simple ideas that will make you look younger and more vibrant. Even if meeting a new lady isn’t your immediate goal, looking your best will help you in your job and, as they say in the commercial, “You’re worth it!”
