Pizza Hut Review

Pizza Hut for me and my family is a basic thing. They have been in operation for over 50 years and I have been a patron for 30 of those years. Forget Zwieback Teething Toast, I cut my teeth on Pizza Hut’s pizza crust. For about 10 years in a row, Friday nights at my place were Pizza Hut night complete with a great pepperoni crust and extra cheese.

For a while, I admit it, I got off track. My body’s needs changed and I wanted a thinner and lighter crust. For those times, another famous pizza chain fit the bill perfectly. For a long time, I cleaned up my eating habits and saw pizza as the enemy and consequently stayed away. However, since I got married, I have been drawn to a husband who is as married to Pizza Hut pizza as I was before.

Pizza Hut is probably best known for its skillet pizza, so named because it is baked in a deep skillet. Its crust is thick, golden, crunchy and glazed with a light layer of oil that, although it may not be the best option for healthy cholesterol, is irresistible due to its crunchy and crunchy texture.

Recently, I reignited a love affair I once had with the salad bar that is available at most full-service Pizza Hut restaurants. I’ve always been a healthy consumer of vegetables thanks to the constant offerings on the table growing up, but in recent years, as I discovered all the health benefits of consuming fresh food from nature, I became a bit obsessed. And now I crave vegetables as much as I sometimes crave chocolate.

Now one of my favorite things to do with my husband is dine at our local Pizza Hut. It is filled with pizza and breadsticks. I stuff myself with lettuce, carrots, broccoli, bell peppers, cheese, and a splash of dressing. Then I enjoy a slice or two of pepperoni pizza. That way I get the best of everything: fresh vegetables great for my health, irresistible pizza with cheese and a completely satisfied belly.

Pizza Hut’s most recent transformation has been a highly publicized pasta offering. Am I crazy, or does anyone else remember that Pizza Hut has always had spaghetti and ziti on the menu? Okay I get it, they are offering NEW pasta and they want to make sure we know about it. Plus point.

New pasta offerings include a Rotini in a Marine Meat Sauce, a Chicken Alfredo, and a Bacon Mac & Cheese.

IMHO they are all delicious, although I must say that the Chicken Alfredo with its mild and subtle cheesy flavor is probably my favorite. The meaty marina has a somewhat spicy twist that’s thrilling on the palate, and the mac and cheese are creamy with a rich mouthfeel.

All pastas are baked and delivered to the table with a lovely crust of golden baked cheese delight.

When delivered, an aluminum can inside a cardboard box keeps them warm and tasty until they arrive at your door. If you’re a regular consumer of takeout, pasta delivered to your door is a great alternative to pizza delivery.

Pizza Hut has come a long way from the dark wood paneling of 20 years ago. They are emerging with a new image to meet the demands of a new generation, and if they continue to produce great pizzas, fresh salads, and great pastas, I promise future generations of my family will have the chance to try some nice thick pizza dough too ( and maybe a piece of broccoli for a well-balanced meal).
