Mazda invades the country with its Zoom-Zoom event

With the success of the Zoom-Zoom Live Tour previously held, Mazda North American Operations is once again taking its beloved enthusiasts on an enjoyable tour of the entire country. Said live tour is scheduled to take place at California Speedway in Fontana, California. On Saturday, October 28, the tour will be from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the 29th, the fun drive will be from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The second annual Zoom-Zoom Live is designed for Los Angeles residents to enjoy and savor. Such individuals will experience the Mazda mantra, which is: “Always the soul of a sports car.”

This event will have the participation of some 50,000 car lovers within the Los Angeles territory. The tour will use Mazda vehicles to invade different cities in the country. Zoom-Zoom Live Tour is one of the most exciting driving events in the world. At such events, participants have the opportunity to experience a different driving sensation that will undoubtedly increase their adrenaline levels.

More than 5,000 participants are expected to attend the driving event. The tour will feature 10 cities, covering 1 million square feet of tracks. Other than that, it will also use over 3,000 orange cones, go through 3,000 pounds of chalk, and eat 1,100 tires.

Zoom-Zoom Live Tour will feature 4 dynamic driving courses where participants can show off their driving skills using Mazda vehicles. Some of the vehicles that will appear on the tour are the CX-7, MX-5 Miata and the new Mazdaspeed 6.

The Mazda CX-7 is a mid-size crossover SUV that was unveiled at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. It replaced the Mazda Tribute. MX-5, on the other hand, is a sports car made mighty with proven Mazda Miata parts. It was designed as a small roadster with reduced driving complexity. Mazdaspeed 6 is a high-performance version of Mazda 6. It is powered by a turbocharged version of the 2.3 L MZR I4. The latter is capable of generating 272 PS.

The CX-7 crossover SUV will be used in the ‘Target Hunt’ course, where a predetermined time interval is set for participants to reach goals and win prizes. Mazdaspeed 6 will be used in the “Challenge Course”. Mazda Miata and RX-8 are designed for the ‘Sports field’. Finally, participants can give their best in the ‘Paired time gymkhana’ course. Prizes, food, and fun are expected to overwhelm the event.
