Living with the new Corona virus or Covid 19: an illusion

Now that the new corona virus has become commonplace in the course of our contemporary lives, there is no other way out than to live with it. In my previous article entitled ‘Living with the new corona virus or Covid 19’, which was published here a few weeks ago, I just explained the preliminary precautions to take while living with the new corona virus or Covid 19. Short note that explains the defensive methods by which one can stay away from the possibility of a new corona virus attack.

However, here my intention is much broader.

I am not here to elucidate the scientific or medical assessment of the current situation, which is the creation of the new corona virus. I am not here to explain the guidelines proposed by expert medical professionals or the WHO.

I wish to address the entire world community to affirm my opinion, as well as to plead with everyone to work for the betterment of human life. I’m here just to beg for human bonding.

Let the new corona virus (Covid 19) become a twist of fate; Let’s use this opportunity as a practical opportunity to come together, mentally at least. Yes, this new corona virus has given us the much-desired break! Let’s unite, forgetting all regional, national and religious barriers and become partners in building a new global community. Remember, when such a pandemic occurs, humans are on one side and the enemy on the other. This practical truth simply explains that we are all of one class, and that is the human race. The new corona virus has emphatically taught us this fact.

Let our children breathe fresh air; that have a more human character than us. Let them become GLOBAL CITIZENS instead of restricted nationalists. Restricted nationalism means restricted humanism, and restricted humanism means sophisticated or masked barbarism.

By restricted nationalism I mean reducing oneself, to the few alphabets of name, religion, country, instead of thinking along with Aristotle’s famous quote, “Man is a social animal.” Let’s start thinking big; Let’s discard unwanted ways of thinking, full of petty regionalism or religionalism. Let’s get out of the language barriers; Let’s free our minds and be an entity!

After all, we are human, and we can admit it! We must admit that we are all human. We are all from an ethnic group; we belong to a family, which means that we are all human. We can seize the opportunity that the new corona virus provides for our betterment, the betterment of our human society.

Please understand that human life is very fragile. As we now know, even the tiniest virus, the new corona virus, Covid 19, which cannot be detected with the naked eye, is capable of ending human existence! You don’t need any human-made destructive mechanism to devastate our beautiful world!

See what’s happening with the existing social scene! Schools have stopped working! All religious institutions remain closed! Pragmatically, human life has become more or less paralyzed! People are afraid to move freely on the streets! Also, there is an official ban on doing it in some of the countries! Officially, they call it “confinement.” Fear has gripped everyone, and an air of uncertainty can be seen everywhere.

So let us be aware of this fact regarding the fragility of life! Let’s get the practical essence of this fact! Let’s love each other and become novel human beings. The new corona virus has provided us with a golden opportunity to become citizens of the world.

Let’s not forget to seize this opportunity and unite. This opportunity may be our last bus so rushing inside or else we can get stranded.
